Splintershare.info gets an update and other third party resources I often use

SplinterShare Update

image.png

I visited the SplinterShare site this morning to look over my recent daily quest rewards and noticed the above icon at the top of the page. The icon is a touch small, but it looked like a small icon of a chaos pack. Curious I clicked and realized that it did indeed share recent pack openings. All of the Chaos, Rift and Gladius packs I have opened for the month were displayed.

Peak Monsters has an option to review Chaos and Rift packs, but I like the addition of seeing Gladius pack openings and in the nice SplinterShare formatting. If you aren't already using SplinterShare, here is another great reason to try it out.

Other Third Party Tools I Often Use

One of the great things about Splinterlands is the community. Many members of the community have developed third party apps to mine the massive amount of data created from each battle. Another one of my favorite of these tools is Splintertools

The home splash screen spells out its purpose very well. I use this site daily to study my battles, both wins and losses. Knowing how moving a card or switching to another card changes my odds of winning a particular battle has helped me refine my strategies and synergies more than anything else I've done.

Take this recent example in a battle I lost. The team I started had a 0% chance of winning. Now hindsight is always 20/20, but it is interesting to play with a lineup and see how slotting them in different positions or removing them altogether changes the odds. In this case plugging Forgotten one in front of Grum makes it a better than 50% chance of victory. This isn't even a lineup I would have considered, but next time I see a similar mana/ruleset I will have that knowledge in my back pocket.

SplinterStats

Another great resource I use is SplinterStats. I love end of seasons and the fun that comes along with opening a season's worth of rewards. Once the excitement of opening all the chests subsides, I like to look back over the season as a whole and reflect on what went well and what I can work on going into the new season. SplinterStats is great for breaking down rewards, battle win percentage and rental income/costs. It's a great way to start a new season to see the particulars of how the previous season went.

Enhance your play

There are so many great third-party resources that can be used to enhance your gameplay or just dig further into all the data created with each battle. This is a small sample of the resources I use most, but there are more out there than I can count. Whether you are looking to increase your win percentage, or just looking for another way to interact with the game while your ECR recharges, these resources are well worth checking out.
