One of My Favorites

Kelya is one of my favorite summoners and there are several strategies and synergies that work well depending on the mana count/rulesets. One of my favorite lineups with a mana count of 49+ is the below.

CardNotes
High armor, Trample, Enrage and good health. Susceptible to magic attacks, but otherwise a great tank
Reach with 3 attack and good health. With Kelya's buff it is a solid secondary tank with punch.
Opportuniy and a solid melee attack. base health is not bad as well.
Void, Phase, high health and a decent magic attack. With the rest of the lineup being very susceptible to magic attacks Djinn can stand up to some heat if it has to become a tank.
Inspire and Resurrect. Susceptible to Opportunity, but if it sticks around long enough to revive Shark, it has done its job. Oh and the base magic attack is not too shabby.
Great base magic attack and high health.

An Interesting Case

Here is a great battle from last season that shows how potent this lineup can be

Kelya v. Grand Master Rathe

I was a bit concerned when I saw the load up of the battle. Uriel can be a pest and Adelade repairing Uriel's armor can make for a tough nut to crack. Looking a bit closer I noticed my opponent was only able to deploy a level one Grandmaster, Uriel and Adelade. Still strong cards, but Uriel without heal and Adelade without Resurrect is not as potent. Curious I looked to see what my opponents odds of victory would have looked like if it was a leveled up Raith, Uriel and Adelade and the tables quickly turned.

I was curious what a leveled up version of my opponents lineup would do, so I hopped over to SplinterTools, created a custom linup and ran the scenario. As you can see, the tables turned and my opponent would have had the big advantage.

This got me thinking, what was my advantage on the battle field? Here is a quick snap shot of what my opponent and I deployed.

Looking at this I had an advantage in everything but range attacks. I was wondering if my opponent tried to take the most advantage of that range advantage with Sloan instead of Raith if the outcome would have changed.

Looks like it would have given my opponent a small most, but not enough that it would have likely changed the outcome.
