Annie left some little drops of water, that the doctors allowed, to roll on her throat.
She was thirsting much....
The diagnosis had been made, the surgeon had been programmed and she couldn't wait any more. She knew that the success of the surgery was minimal. When signed the statement that she was fully responsible, knew that she had signed her conviction, but she was tired.
Almost 35 years old, had traveled, had fun, fell in love and had lived her life so far as beautiful as she could. Fought illness for five years but eventually the disease broke her body...
Nurses with their blue uniforms came to pick her from the room. When she was taken to the hospital corridor, Elpida (hope) her best friend, caught Annie's hand with tears in her eyes.
She smiled warmly, told her not to cry and promised that one day they will meet each other again.
Annie felt the surgeon's frosted metal bed and time stopped.... as the pain at her body.

She had no idea where and why she was there. Her tiny mind did not allow her to think much, but she knew the smell and the beating of her mother's heart.
They put her in her mother's arms and all began to get value. She opened her little eyes and looked the person who would make everything for her....
