Well isn't this a trip! Howdy, friends, my name is Rebecca, and to sum myself up, I really love people...which is part of what drew me to Steemit! As a social worker, I find myself interacting with humanity at its most vulnerable, and I've come to understand that we learn the most about ourselves when we allow our deepest desires, fears, aspirations, and creative pursuits to come to the surface. That is what I hope to give and receive from this unique community.
Sure, it may be awkward, unfinished, rough around the edges, uncomfortable... but it is also inspiring. Even the most "stable" people are still living lives that are a work in progress, so why not embrace that and share in process with one another?
To be a little more specific, I will be sharing music, poetry, life musings, Pilates and fitness videos, and probably the occasional rant (if I am being entirely honest). When it comes to creating, I try to push myself past what I know and attempt to create content that tests my limits- after all, isn't being insecure with one's work the hallmark of every artist/musician/writer/etc? :P
