Pocas veces suele pasar que en medio de una simple meditaci贸n te encuentras con una frase, una idea que surje por la letra de una canci贸n que a m铆 juicio no lleg贸 por mera casualidad. Son de esas experiencias que te dejan sin palabras mientras entiendes que a veces las mejores respuestas llegan as铆, con la sensaci贸n de una soluci贸n que parece lejana e imposible. Lo cierto es que al retornar a casa despu茅s de un viaje especial, me encontr茅 con un tema musical digno de toda perla que ya estaba en lo m谩s profundo de un inmenso mar que hoy reposa frente a m铆.

These are the kinds of experiences that leave you speechless as you realize that sometimes the best answers come like this, with the feeling of a solution that seems distant and impossible. The truth is that when I returned home after a special trip, I found a musical theme worthy of every pearl that was already deep in an immense sea that now lies before me.
No s茅 si deber铆a decirlo con orgullo o no, pero esta canci贸n es de uno de mis cantantes favoritos como lo es Alejandro Sanz. 驴Por qu茅 lo pienso as铆? Porque no s茅 c贸mo no hab铆a escuchado esta canci贸n mucho antes. "Desde cuando" es el tema y la raz贸n de una inspiraci贸n que aterriz贸 sin invitaci贸n alguna, trayendo un aire de ilusi贸n y esperanza que hace mucho no soplaba en mis cercan铆as. Toda una poes铆a que merece la atenci贸n m谩s especial, la que nace desde el coraz贸n, uno de esos temas que te enganchan a la primera porque guardan la esencia de la emoci贸n y el sentimiento compaginados en el amor.
Qu茅 bonito es encontrar algo que te falta mientras no lo buscas. Te llega, te sorprende, y de pronto todo lo miras de otra manera. A veces me asombra el efecto tan profundo que una canci贸n puede tener en tu vida, y lo digo con sentido y propiedad al ver tambi茅n los comentarios de otras personas que pr谩cticamente dibujan un trazo importante de sus vidas al comp谩s de una canci贸n. Es como si al escuchar un tema musical como este lo sientas directamente en el coraz贸n y sin tanta explicaci贸n terminas aceptando ese efecto tan bonito que de manera inmediata te anima y te fortalece mientras te deja sin palabras.
I don't know if I should say this with pride or not, but this song is by one of my favorite singers, Alejandro Sanz. Why do I think so? Because I don't know how I hadn't heard this song much earlier. "Desde cuando" is the theme and reason for an inspiration that landed without invitation, bringing an air of excitement and hope that hadn't blown my way in a long time. It's a poem that deserves special attention, one that comes from the heart, one of those songs that hooks you right away because it captures the essence of emotion and feeling combined with love.
How wonderful it is to find something you're missing when you're not looking for it. It comes to you, it surprises you, and suddenly you see everything differently. Sometimes I am amazed at the profound effect a song can have on your life, and I say this with meaning and propriety when I also see the comments of other people who practically draw an important line in their lives to the beat of a song. It's as if when you listen to a song like this, you feel it directly in your heart and, without much explanation, you end up accepting that beautiful effect that immediately encourages and strengthens you while leaving you speechless.
驴Desde cu谩ndo existe esta canci贸n? Puede ser una pregunta algo torpe o graciosa, pero hace honor a mi primera impresi贸n. 驴Y por qu茅 dicha reacci贸n? Quiz谩s esto sea un tema para otra publicaci贸n, pero b谩sicamente apunta a esas reflexiones de vida que por segundos te llevan a cuestionar muchos a帽os de tu existencia. Entonces tratas de buscar en ti o en algo m谩s la respuesta a todo pero solo terminas con las manos vac铆as y la frustraci贸n que parece hundirse como una amarga espina que no te deja pensar como debe ser, de manera positiva y con el amor propio que tanto necesitas para continuar.
How long has this song been around? It may be a somewhat awkward or funny question, but it reflects my first impression. And why that reaction? Perhaps this is a topic for another post, but basically it points to those reflections on life that for a few seconds lead you to question many years of your existence. So you try to search within yourself or elsewhere for the answer to everything, but you only end up empty-handed and frustrated, which seems to sink in like a bitter thorn that prevents you from thinking clearly, positively, and with the self-esteem you so desperately need to carry on.
Ahora entiendo el sentido de una dedicatoria, de ese gesto especial que viene de parte de alguien que te considera muy especial. 驴Y por qu茅 no pensar en esa persona que merece dicha atenci贸n? Y m谩s a煤n en los tiempos que vivimos, donde necesitamos ese toque de amor y consideraci贸n que nos vuelva por as铆 decirlo a la posici贸n en la que queremos estar. "Ya no se dedican canciones como estas" dicen algunos, pero s茅 que hay historias verdaderamente dignas de un gui贸n especial, ese que tanto t煤 como yo podemos darle el m谩s hermoso de todos los sentidos. Quiz谩s no sea para ti esta canci贸n o ya tengas una en especial, pero la magia de la m煤sica hace que podamos alcanzar el mismo destino en diferentes senderos llenos de melod铆as.
Now I understand the meaning of a dedication, that special gesture that comes from someone who considers you very special. And why not think about that person who deserves such attention? Especially in the times we live in, where we need that touch of love and consideration that brings us back, so to speak, to the position we want to be in. "They don't dedicate songs like this anymore," some say, but I know there are stories truly worthy of a special script, one that both you and I can give the most beautiful of all meanings. Maybe this song isn't for you, or maybe you already have a special one, but the magic of music allows us to reach the same destination on different paths filled with melodies.
