The other day, they said a snake swallowed millions in the office. Today, there is breaking news that unknown persons took away millions stacked in bags. Who knows what they will say tomorrow? Maybe a chimpanzee in the office has taken its turn to cart away funds.
Oh, my dear country, who made thee such a land of wonder? How did we get to this place, and what will become of the innocent generations? We keep trusting, hoping, and believing that one day, our leaders shall arise and do the right thing. But again I ask, when will that be?
The mothers are waiting for good news; the fathers' eyes itch to behold a new dawn. Yes, the dawn of good roads, the dawn of clean water in our communities, the dawn of quality education, and not of a chimpanzee in the office.
