Elf 17 Eager Assistant
This is the second elf character under the toy factory or workshop group. I want to create an assistant to the creative lead character from my previous post. She does not have a specific skill yet but an eager assistant that is full of enthusiasm.
Here is how I created the cute elf:
A cute wide eyed face is what my idea is. Something positively eager and happy. That is my goal when I first drafted this line drawing. At this stage I can already tell that the body is quite slender
I immediately added the base color for the hair because I am planning to give the character a darker hair color and wanted to see how it looks early on. A pale skin color would go well with the hair, something I am testing here. The size of the upper garment I made a little bulky as I didn't like the slender body like I mentioned above
Took a while getting the hair right. The curliness, the right length, the appropriate thickness that hangs on each big pointy ears. The last minor detail that made a difference would be that wind swept hair to the right shoulder.
The apron remained the same like on my previous creations. I noticed the line drawing needs more weight to it so I had to retrace and darken the outline.
