Pick up your bat and take your shot; 3 strikes and you are out. Getting to base is good (showing up). Hit a single is nice. A double is great. Triple fantastic. Home run is sublime. But chances are, we will strike out. We all do. But remember, avoiding failure isn't the goal. And unlike baseball, you always can take your turn at the bat. Learn from each experience and just keep swinging.
As I reflect on the events of the past one year, I feel the pressure that I have not done enough. I do not feel proud of the mistakes I have made.
This passage reminds me success does not come about from single galatic shifts; rather small everyday wins.
The pressure is good. It means this is something valuable and worth doing.
Some new changes are afoot.
Keep on learning, get to base and bat.
