Much of why i choose Hive is here in my presentation at the Hivefest in Thailand.
I seek a place to share my creativity that is not controlled by a central entity.
Facebook, tic toc, insta… whatever mainstream social media…. They all suck our energy and make us the products in my view.
So i came to Hive seeking an alternative.
But a lot of my start here was aided by finding @Ddaily. While @Ddaily is no longer active, the spirit of it is still active in me. Decentralized Daily output! A goal or push to create everyday on blockchain. @Ddaily was about video mostly but could be anything.
Speaking and sharing with other creators was profound for me, and full of learning support. It all meant much more to share with peer creators that i really respected for the content they shared!
I went to hive fest in Krakow, Poland mainly so i could have an opportunity to meet all these other creators i was vibing with in @Ddaily.

Man, it’s all like a dream thinking back to those amazing memories. We all rented a big Airbnb and called it the Ddaily Mansion. It was a week of laughter and creative bliss. We all got to know each other, shared stories, skills, ideas, and made ridiculous videos. It was exciting and felt momentous.

Something special happens when creators and like minded people get together. And this is a big reason why i decided to go to another Hivefest. That and that i live in Guatemala, which is right next door to where hivefest is this year.
I go to Hivefest Mexico to continue making these real life connections that have made my decentralized journey on the Hive blockchain what it is.
I seek to establish new connections and rediscover old ones.
In both Poland and Thailand i was a presenter. You can see my little buttcoins face here in the presenters. In Thailand i gave a talk to and for creators on Hive. It was more an angle into the user of hive perspective and not a technical presentation.
I’m excited to come this year and just enjoy the event without presenting.
Also pumped to meet all the latin american hive folks.
I couldn’t speak polish or Thai so couldn’t vibe with all the locals and local language.
But this time is sweet because i speak Spanish.

I’m a face to face kinda person. And i cant wait to meet all the beautiful Hive family that make the jump and come!
