I am a Foodie and I can't even count how many times I eat in 24 hours, I do not follow the 3 times meal a day rule.

Even though I love food, I live on a budget and do not spend lavishly on food unless on special days when I am in the mood to taste something really nice. I can eat the same kind of food for the whole week, on days like this I focus on eating bread and beans and I don't cook it, I made 2 eateries in my area my food joint and that is where I buy my morning and night food, the life of a bachelor.

You must be wondering why I didn't mention lunch, it is the remnant of the food I ate in the morning that I eat in the afternoon then I will go and buy another Bb at night and sometimes I change to swallow an egusi soup.

It is just sad that the same bread and beans that I spent 150 Naira[ bread 100 naira and 50 naira beans] and would be fully satisfied with years ago has changed in price drastically that there is no more 50 naira beans and even 100 naira beans is just one spoon that can't reach anywhere and also I need bread of 250 naira to be satisfied.

The bread and beans is when I am being economical, if I really want to treat myself to a nice meal which I do once in a while, there is a joint not too far from my area, It costs 100 naira transport fare to get there, That is where I go to buy the combo of Jollof rice and fried rice, plantain, turkey, meat and egg which often cost me nothing like than 3500 Naira but I also do eat the food in the morning and afternoon.

The place I hate to eat is in hotels, their food is very expensive and to make it worse, their one plate can never satisfy you, I remember one day I and my babe traveled to my former area and we decided to spend the night in the hotel, we ask for their menu and there I saw jollof #1500, turkey #2500, plantain #1000 and some other food but we ordered for those ones I listed their price instead but guess what they brought for us.

The Jollof was so small, and the turkey was big but still, I think buying 3200 Orobo and frying it myself is far better and the one I never expected was the plantain, They only put 5 small sliced Plantain in the food which really annoyed me, 1 thousand naira plantain in my area is like 9 in a bunch and from one plantain I can slice it to like 10 or 12, so how can they put 5 slices in the food as 1000 naira, we ate it like that but neither of us was satisfied with the food.

Few minutes later, she was already crying for another food but I was definitely not buying that expensive hotel food again, we spent 10 400 naira including bottled water. I already called quduus1@quduus1 to join us at the hotel so I used that opportunity to tell her to be patient and that when Fox arrives, we will go out to eat.

Fox arrived shortly and he took us to a restaurant where we bought food, their food was more delicious and less costly than the hotel food, their plantain was much and the jollof was plenty too, I didn't spend up to 4000 Naira there for the three of us and we were all satisfied after eaten. Imagine the three of us decided to eat the hotel food again.
