Entering the pyramid, Bayek realized that a terrifying mystery awaited him. The tunnels inside the Pyramid of Khufu were pitch-black; so, lighting the torch he carried, he began to move slowly forward.
Just then, a voice drifted through the air. It was Khaliset's voice. She began hurling threats one after another to intimidate Bayek, declaring that he would not leave the pyramid alive. Not only that, but she vowed to destroy his entire family as well. She tried to make Bayek back down by saying terrifying words. But Bayek was not the least bit frightened by these words. He knew Khaliset was trying to weaken him mentally. So, without a reply, he pressed on deeper.
The interior of the pyramid was a maze of passages, large and small. Finding the correct path was extremely difficult, so Bayek began exploring each one in turn. During his search, he discovered valuable gems in some places, while in others, he came across ancient human skeletons. Scattered about were important letters and documents that appeared to be linked to the mystery.
After searching for a long time, Bayak finally found the right path. Following it, he arrived in front of a massive pit. Once across the pit, a large wooden door came into view. The appearance of the door suggested that people frequently passed through there. Bayak then became certain that he was on the right track.
Beyond the door lay a vast, open space. The atmosphere suggested that mysterious rites or secret rituals were performed there. Human corpses lay scattered across the floor, while the walls were covered with strange markings, incantations, and ancient symbols.
Bayek observes everything very closely. After analyzing the situation, he realizes that Khaliset is performing a dark magic ritual here. She is capturing innocent people and sacrificing them to achieve a powerful objective.
The most alarming thing was that, upon seeing certain incantations written on the wall, Bayek suspected Khaliset might be attempting to resurrect someone from the dead. Yet, the identity of that person, the reason for wanting to bring them back, and the true mystery behind it al. these were the most important questions now facing Bayek.
