What's up, community! Welcome to my 37th #MyHiveGoals report. With only two days left in September, I am thrilled to share my progress from this week. Just as I projected in previous posts, all signs pointed to us hitting our monthly targets well before the month ended—and that’s exactly what happened! I feel like I’ve achieved this in record time, especially considering how fast this month has flown by for me. I’m writing this right now just as I’m about to head into the teaching labs; I need to get everything set up here before heading to my second job at another university. I think that’s the reason time has been flying—I’ve had to prepare two different classes, and my teaching load has jumped from two hours to six hours a day! It has certainly been demanding, but I’m not complaining; I needed a second source of income, as university teaching in Venezuela pays very poorly, making it necessary to seek additional earnings.

But getting back to Hive: I’ve been amazed over the last 48 hours to see the price climb to nearly $0.06; in fact, I converted my reward-based Hive into HBD when the price was around $0.0596. There is an air of optimism on the blockchain, and that is what truly matters; I’m becoming convinced that it is realistic to expect Hive to rise above $0.09 before the year ends.

All of this is happening just under 48 hours before Hive Power Up Day! I have enough liquid Hive right now to participate in HPUD, but I also plan to fund my wallet by buying more Hive on Binance. I just hope that if the price holds steady, it doesn't take a nosedive right after I make my purchase.

Let's take a look at my Hive wallet: I currently have 146.7 Hive available. The balance was higher last week, but as I’ve mentioned before, I’m constantly performing daily power-ups and purchasing NFT assets for the Splinterlands project—a game I’m getting back into so I can compete in tournaments that offer great prizes. In any case, the amount I have is sufficient for #HPUD and also to complete the September HPUM. I might add funds to my wallet by September 30th or early October to keep up with daily power-ups and continue investing in Splinterlands NFTs.

Regarding HP, as you know, we started the month by hitting our annual goal of 12K HP. However, we set a short-term target of reaching 13K HP, and we managed to achieve it with four days to spare before October 30th! It’s interesting to look back on this; I remember when I first started diving into Hive communities, sharing my initial posts, and making a habit of curating content and interacting in the comments... Reaching 1,000 HP was really tough at the start, but as I’ve grown and engaged with various communities, I haven't just made a name for myself—that growth has also translated into better weekly earnings.

Of course, the charts reflect my activity from the past week, a time when I was still able to step away from other responsibilities and dedicate time to Hive. I’m not sure how this week will go; managing time when you have two jobs is truly challenging, as unexpected issues always crop up and tend to be very time-consuming. However, I’m wrapping up my teaching duties at my main job, so hopefully, next week I’ll be able to get back into the swing of things on the blockchain.

Let’s move on to what has become my most ambitious project since I decided to focus on growing on Hive—both in terms of voting power and savings. It was early 2024 when I decided to embark on this journey of accumulating the HBD received from rewards and testing the effectiveness of the 20% APR offered at the time. What started as a fun game soon turned into a serious savings project by mid-2025; today, we have a different perspective on the true significance of HBD within the platform. 1 HBD is far more than just a way to safeguard the value of your funds; the way I see it, every HBD you stake is a worker toiling for you at a 10% APR, and the interest earned can be added to your locked savings, thereby generating that highly coveted "snowball effect."

In this context, this week we generated 9.5 HBD—more than enough to meet our monthly goal of reaching 2,200 HBD! We simply locked up 8 HBD and invested the rest in Splinterlands—specifically in Land—where we are generating resources that we can accumulate and sell to build further wealth on the Hive Layer 2. As for our APR, we are just two days away from collecting interest; I’ll let it accumulate until Sunday so I can combine it with all the earnings from last week's posts. If we’re lucky, we’ll start the first week of October with 2,225 HBD, putting us just 75 HBD away from our annual goal of 2,300 HBD! I don't think we'll hit it by the end of October, but we will very likely achieve this long-awaited goal by mid-to-late November.

Bienvenidos a mi reporte #37 de #MyHiveGoals, ya solo quedan 2 días para el cierre de septiembre y estoy bastante entusiasmado de compartirles mi progreso esta semana, tal como proyectaba en mis publicaciones anteriores, todo indicaba que íbamos a lograr nuestras metas del mes mucho antes de terminarlo y asi fue! Me parece que lo he logrado en tiempo récord, considerando lo rápido que ha pasado este mes para mi. Justo ahora te escribo estas líneas mientras estoy a punto de entrar a los laboratorios docentes, necesito dejar todo listo aquí para atender mi segundo trabajo en otra universidad, creo que esto ha sido la razón por la que siento que el tiempo se ha ido volando he tenido que preparar 2 clases distintas y mi carga horaria a subido de 2 horas a 6 horas por día! Ha sido ciertamente exigente pero no me quejo, necesitaba una segunda fuente de ingresos ya que en Venezuela la docencia universitaria es muy mal pagada por lo que se hace necesario buscar ingresos adicionales.

Pero volviendo a Hive, me ha sorprendido estas últimas 48 horas como el precio ha llegado a subir hasta casi alcanzar los 0,06$, de hecho, yo cambié mis Hives de las recompensas a HBD cuando estaba por los 0,0596$. Se siente un aire de optimismo en la blockchain y eso es lo que verdaderamente importa, por lo que ya me estoy convenciendo que es factible esperar un Hive sobre los 0,09$ antes de terminar el año.

Todo esto sucede justo cuando estamos a menos de 48 horas del Hive Power Up Day! Tengo Hives líquidos en este momento, los suficientes para hacer el HPUD pero también tengo planeado fondear mi billetera comprando Hives en Binance, por lo que espero que el precio, si se mantiene, no se vaya a caer estrepitosamente después de comprar.

Veamos como esta nuestra billetera de Hive, actualmente tenemos 146,7 Hives disponibles, la semana pasada eran más pero como les he comentado antes siempre estoy haciendo power up diarios y también comprando activos NFT en el proyecto Splinterlands del que estoy reactivándome para participar en los torneos que tienen muy buenos premios. En todo caso la cantidad que tengo es suficiente para el #HPUD y también para completar el HPUM de septiembre. Es posible que para el 30 de septiembre o los primeros días de octubre agregue fondos a mi billetera para continuar haciendo los power up diarios y también invertir en NFT de Splinterlands.

En términos de HP como saben empezamos el mes logrando nuestra meta anual de 12K de HP, pero nos propusimos una meta de cierto plazo y era llegar a los 13K de HP y logramos concretarla a 4 días del 30 de octubre! Esto es interesante, porque recuerdo cuando empecé profundizar en las comunidades de Hive y compartir mis primeras publicaciones, a tomar de costumbre la curaciones e interacción en los comentarios... Era realmente difícil al comienzo llegar a los 1000 de HP, pero a medida que he crecido e interactuado en las distintas comunidades no solo me he dado a conocer, sino que eso se ha visto reflejado en mejores ingresos semanalmente.

Por supuesto, las gráficas reflejan la actividad de mi última semana donde todavía podía liberarme de responsabilidades y dedicarle tiempo a Hive, no sé como me vaya a ir esta semana, administrar el tiempo cuando tienes 2 trabajos es algo verdaderamente arduo, porque siempre surgen cosas inesperadas que tienes que atender y suelen tomar demasiado tiempo. Sin embargo, ya estoy saliendo de mis actividades docentes en mi trabajo principal, con suerte la semana que viene podré retomar el ritmo de mis actividades en la blockchain.

Pasemos a continuación a lo que se ha convertido en mi proyecto más ambicioso desde que decidí plantearme el crecer en Hive tanto en términos de poder de voto y en términos de ahorros. Fue a comienzos de 2024 que decidí iniciar esta aventura de acumular los HBD que recibía de las recompensas y ver la eficacia de ese 20% de APR en aquel momento. Lo que comenzó como un juego divertido, pronto se convirtió en un proyecto de ahorro serio cuando ya estábamos a mediados de 2025 y hoy tenemos una perspectiva distinta del verdadero significado del HBD dentro de la plataforma. 1 HBD es mucho más que una forma de resguardar el valor de tus fondos, como yo lo veo, cada HBD que pongas en stake es un trabajador que estará trabajando para ti a un APR de 10% y cuyos intereses podrás sumarlos al resto de tus ahorros bloqueados, generando así el tan deseado efecto "bola de nieve".

En este contexto, esta semana generamos 9,5 HBD más que suficiente para cumplir nuestra meta mensual de alcanzar los 2200 HBD! Lo que hicimos entonces fue solo bloquear 8 HBD y el resto invertirlo en Splinterlands, específicamente en Lands donde estamos generando recursos que podremos acumular y vender para generar más riqueza pero en la segunda capa de Hive. En cuanto a nuestro APR ya solo nos faltan 2 días para cobrar los intereses, los dejaré acumulando hasta el domingo, para sumarlo con todas las ganancias de las publicaciones de la semana pasada. Si tenemos suerte, empezaremos la primera semana de Octubre con 2225 HBD y estaríamos a tan solo 75 HBD de alcanzar nuestra meta anual de los 2300 HBD! No creo que vaya a lograrlo a finales de octubre pero muy posiblemente a mediados o finales de noviembre ya podamos concretar esta ansiada meta.

La verdad que estas últimas semanas de septiembre fueron verdaderamente únicas, no solo mantuve el ritmo de crecimiento en Hive, sino que también he mantenido un ritmo similar en proyectos como Splinterlands donde apenas estoy levantándome para abrirme paso entre los desafiantes torneos.
