Greetings, dear Beer community, it's a real pleasure to write to you again in what would be week 421 of the #BeerSaturday Challenge. Today I want to bring you a review I wrote with great affection, especially because the beer I'm bringing you this time was a gift from a colleague: Peroni Beer.

They say the best memories when you're out of adolescence and already considered of age are when you begin your professional career. The friendships you make along that journey of life and the memories that remain etched in your memory are something I treasure. In my case, after finishing university, I stayed there to continue with my research and teaching. I've also had very good students, particularly the first class I taught, which is the most special. In that context, one of my students, who already graduated and completed his PhD studies in Italy, brought me this wonderful detail from those transalpine lands: Peroni.

Of course, I've never tried this beer, so I waited until this last Saturday in July to hold my usual meeting with friends on Discord, the opening ceremony, and subsequent tasting of this wonderful beer. But first, I wanted to share the can's presentation, which I found interesting because, at least here in Venezuela, beers in cans generally have quite light colors: silver, blue, white, and the exception being dark beers. But in this case, a completely red can caught the attention of my brother, nephew, and I, who could only imagine that its flavor would be as exceptional as the presentation of this can.

Once I met up with my friends from Hive NftGame Latino on Discord, and while we were talking about Splinterlands and the latest news from the virtual lands, I decided to open and pour the beer. As you can see, it meets one of my favorite requirements: being very foamy! I was surprised that, being a lager, it was really smooth and very refreshing at first sip. As an anecdote, the beer's design also seemed striking to my friends gathered on Discord.

After we finished the discussion, we got down to business and tested our skills in the mini-tournament we usually organize on Discord. There, I took the opportunity to have the next round of this beer and reaffirm my impressions of it. We poured it, and indeed, my impression of this beer is the same: a rich, creamy foam, not to mention how refreshing it was, since at that time, even though it was nighttime, the temperature felt like 37°C in my city.

Ultimately, this beer has been one of the best gifts I've received so far this year. I was left wanting more, but I decided to save the rest of the six-pack of this beer to enjoy later. My rating for this beer is a solid 8/10. It was interesting to try this transalpine beer and discover that, while it maintains the same style of tropical lagers, this brand has a very authentic flavor.

Saludos apreciada comunidad de Beer es un verdadero gusto escribirles nuevamente en lo que sería la semana 421 del #BeerSaturday Challenge y hoy quiero traerles una reseña que he realizado con gran cariño, particularmente porque la cerveza que en esta ocasión te traigo ha sido el regalo de un colega: Cerveza Peroni.

Dicen que los mejores recuerdos cuando terminas la adolescencia y ya te consideran mayor de edad es cuando comienzas tu carrera profesional, las amistades que haces en ese recorrido de la vida y los recuerdos que quedan marcados a fuego son algo que yo atesoro mucho. En mi caso al terminar la universidad me quedé alli para continuar con mi área de investigación y de docencia, también he tenido muy buenos estudiantes, particularmente la primera promoción a la que me tocó dar clases es la más especial y en ese contexto, uno de mis estudiantes que ya se graduó e hizo sus estudios de PHD en Italia me trajo este maravilloso detalle de esas tierras transalpinas: Peroni.

Por supuesto esta cerveza jamás la he probado así que esperé a este último sábado de Julio para en mi acostumbrada reunión con amigos de Discord, realizar la ceremonia de apertura y posterior catadura de esta maravillosa cerveza. Pero antes quería compartirles la presentación de la lata la cual me ha parecido interesante porque al menos aquí en Venezuela las cervezas en latas tienen por lo general colores bastante suaves, plateado, azul, blanco y la excepción son las cervezas negras. Pero en este caso una lata completamente roja llamo la atención tanto a mi como a mi hermano y a mi sobrino que solo podíamos imaginarnos que su sabor sería tan excepcional como la presentación de esta lata.

Una vez reunido con mis amigos de Hive NftGame Latino en discord y mientras hablábamos sobre Splinterlands y las novedades más recientes de las tierras virtuales, decidí abrir y servir la cerveza, como pueden ver cumple con uno de mis requisitos favoritos y es el ser muy espumosa! Me sorprendió que siendo una cerveza lager era realmente suave y muy refrescante al primer sorbo. Como anécdota el diseño de la cerveza también les pareció llamativo a mis compas reunidos en el discord.

Después que terminamos tertulia pasamos a la acción y medimos nuestras habilidades en el mini torneo que acostumbradamente organizamos en el discord. Alli aproveche para tomar la siguiente ronda de esta cerveza y reafirmar mis impresiones sobre ella. Servimos y efectivamente mi impresión sobre esta cerveza es la misma, una espuma abundante y cremosa, sin olvidar lo muy refrescante que fue ya que a esa hora aunque era de noche la sensación térmica era de 37 °C en mi ciudad.

En definitiva esta cerveza ha sido uno de los mejores regalos que he recibido en lo que va de año. Quedé con ganas de continuar bebiendo pero decidí guardar el resto del six pack de esta cerveza para continuar disfrutándola más tarde. Mi nota para esta cerveza es un sólido 8/10, fue interesante probar esta cerveza transalpina y descubrir que aunque mantiene el mismo estilo de las cervezas lager tropicales, esta marca tiene un sabor muy auténtico.

Bien amigos, espero que les haya gustado este review con el cual honró este gran detalle que ha tenido mi estudiante, colega y amigo al regalarme esta cerveza, probarla fue al mismo tiempo un sorbo refrescante y también de recuerdos nostálgicos de tiempos mejores.
