Recently, I and my drone Zelya showed you daytime Kiato, but with the change of time of day, the same places take on different colors.
And that's why I decided to show you Kiato in the evening, at sunset and after sunset too. I struggled for a long time with attempts to photograph the sunset, because almost always at that time of the day there is usually a strong wind that prevents Zelya from moving.
And so I half-heartedly caught the window with less wind, still got up and, most importantly, landed safely without loss. And still take pictures. In general, Kiato is the capital of the municipality of Sikyonia, it is located 22 kilometers from Corinth, has a population of about 10,000 inhabitants and occupies most of the coastal part of the Gulf of Corinth. It consists of the main city and three settlements: Tragana, Neapoli and Agios Ioannis.
It is a beautiful, seaside, transit, commercial and recreational center surrounded by a fertile area where grape vines, apricots, oranges, lemons and other fruit trees are mainly grown. There is a lot of traffic, especially bikers. The port of Kiatos is commercial in nature and serves mainly the export of agricultural products.
The city has all the main public services: secondary and primary education departments, court, health center, fishing reserve, kindergartens, primary schools, secondary schools, library, football, athletics, tennis courts, gym, etc. A modern highway and suburban railway make it possible to be in the town of Kiatos just an hour's drive from Athens.
For accommodation, there are hotels and rented apartments, which are actually relatively expensive for Ukrainian citizens. In Kiato, in my opinion, the coast of the Gulf of Corinth of the Ionian Sea is the most valuable, and it is here that there is value in renting housing, and here is exactly the catch, any even scary housing is estimated to be disproportionately expensive. For owners that's good, but for us are not.
