Six contestants invited us to six places on three continents.

Soutěžní fotografie jsou víceméně „rozděleny“ na dvě stejné poloviny. Jedna polovina zobrazuje divy přírody a druhá polovina um lidských rukou. Ve vašem hodnocení měla „navrch“ příroda.

The competition photos are more or less “divided” into two equal halves. One half depicts the wonders of nature and the other half the art of human hands. In your evaluation, nature had “the upper hand”.

@wahacoce má „slabost“ pro pěší turistiku. Dnes nás zavedl k přírodnímu „skvostu“ českého Švýcarska, k Pravčické bráně. Fotografie získala speciální cenu s právem účasti na doplňkové soutěži o nejlepší fotografii měsíce září.

@wahacoce has a “weakness” for hiking. Today he took us to the natural “gem” of Czech Switzerland, the Pravčická Gate. The photo won a special prize with the right to participate in the supplementary competition for the best photo of the month of September.

@cezary-io v sobě nezapře „specialistu na dění na obloze“. Dnes si ale nejsem jistý, jestli mám obdivovat Woodlands Pub (Londýn, UK), nebo to, co je na pozadí snímku :-). Fotografie získala druhou cenu.

@alfrin je v naši soutěži sporadickým účastníkem. I tady jde ale „zjistit“, že je zaměřen na rodinu a ve volných chvílích přidá nějakou fotografii přírody. Dnes je to vodopád v Quintero ravine nedaleko venezuelského Caracasu. Fotografie získala první cenu.

@alfrin is a sporadic participant in our competition. Here too, however, it can be “discovered” that he is focused on family and in his free time he adds some nature photography. Today, it is a waterfall in Quintero ravine near Caracas, Venezuela. The photo won the first prize.

@ansoe překonal těžké období po ničivém zemětřesení v Myanmaru a už se zase věnuje scenériím své země. Dnes nás pozval na večerní „rozjímání“ u Yatanar Beikman Monastery v Sagaing city. Fotografie získala první cenu.

@ansoe overcame a difficult period after the devastating earthquake in Myanmar and is now once again devoting himself to the scenery of his country. Today, he invited us to an evening “meditation” at Yatanar Beikman Monastery in Sagaing city. The photo won the first prize.

@phortun se prezentuje jako precizní pozorovatel a dokumentarista. Dnes nás pozval na Rynek Glówny v polském Krakově. Sukiennice a Bazilika jsou dominantami prostoru. Fotografie získala třetí cenu.

@phortun presents himself as a precise observer and documentarian. Today, he invited us to Rynek Glówny in Krakow, Poland. The Cloth Hall and the Basilica are the dominant features of the space. The photo won the third prize.

Odhadl jsem „přednosti“ našich soutěžících správně? To mohou posoudit jen oni. Jisté je, že jsme díky nim viděli šest zajímavých míst na našem nedělním výletu s ATW :-).

Did I guess the "advantages" of our contestants correctly? Only they can judge that. What is certain is that thanks to them we saw six interesting places on our Sunday trip with ATW :-).
