FJ 2023#291 - NOV 4 - Wiedeń (Dzień drugi) - Stephansplatz, Café Bel Étage, Wiener Prater
Drugiego dnia pobytu w Wiedniu pogoda była dużo łaskawsza, co ja piszę, było pięknie, słoneczko grzało cały dzień. Dzięki temu mogliśmy bez przeszkód rozkoszować się pięknem miasta.
Na początek wróciliśmy na Stephansplatz, byliśmy tam wczoraj wieczorem i podziwialiśmy to miejsce oświetlone nocnymi iluminacjami. Plusem jesiennych wycieczek jest możliwość oglądania ciekawych miejsc za dnia i po zmroku bez czekania do nocy. Stephansplatz za dnia jest jeszcze bardziej tłoczny, ale wciąż bardzo ładny.
Pobyt w Wiedniu byłby nie zaliczony bez spróbowania słynnego torcika Sachera, a najlepszy jest podobno w Café Bel Étage. Po około 20 minutach oczekiwania w kolejce przed wejściem mogliśmy sami się przekonać jak on smakuje. Nam przypadł do gustu, ale wiem, że zdania są podzielone.
Wiedeń do przecież też Dunaj. Tym razem metrem pojechaliśmy nad rzekę, gdzie spacerowaliśmy wzdłuż brzegu do następnego mostu. Skąd pojechaliśmy autobusem na Wiener Prater, nie żebyśmy byli fanami parków rozrywki. Sam pewnie bym się skusił na kilka z atrakcji, dla żony szczytem szaleństwa była przejażdżka kolejka dla dzieci.
Później powrót do centrum i wieczorem miałby sznycel wiedeński, żeby udanie zakończyć dzień. Niestety wszędzie albo trzeba mieć rezerwację na kilka dni przed lub kolejka taka, że z głodu byśmy umarli zanim byśmy weszli do restauracji. Skończyło się na dobrej włoskiej restauracji, gdzie udało nam się wyżebrać stolik bez rezerwacji.
[ENG] On the second day of our stay in Vienna, the weather was much nicer, what can I say, it was beautiful, the sun was warm all day long. Thanks to this, we could enjoy the beauty of the city without any problems.
First of all, we returned to Stephansplatz, we were there last evening and admired this place illuminated by night illuminations. The advantage of autumn trips is the ability to see interesting places during the day and after dark without waiting until night. Stephansplatz is even more crowded during the day, but still very nice.
A stay in Vienna would not be complete without trying the famous Sacher cake, and the best one is apparently at Café Bel Étage. After waiting in line for about 20 minutes in front of the entrance, we could see for ourselves what it tasted like. We liked it, but I know that opinions are divided.
Vienna and the Danube as well. This time we took the metro to the river, where we walked along the bank to the next bridge. From there we took a bus to the Wiener Prater, not that we were fans of amusement parks. I would probably try some of the attractions myself, but for my wife the ultimate attraction was a children's train ride.
Then return to the center and in the evening we would have Wiener schnitzel to end the day successfully. Unfortunately, everywhere you either have to make a reservation a few days in advance or the queue is so long that you would die of hunger before you could even enter the restaurant. We ended up at a good Italian restaurant where we managed to get a table without a reservation.
