Today we had visitors and I wanted to bake something to serve with coffee. I always have some ingredients to make small things in the oven when needed. And for a mother cooking or baking with the kids is a great gift in bringing them up to adults.
This is something I use a lot , cinnamon and cookie spices, always good for cake, cookies or pasty. So that’s secret one from Britt.
You need dough, I use pre made from the freezer, sugar, cinnamon, apples, egg and a brush to finalise the sweet pasty.
The oven is preheated on 200 degrees.
I cut the apples in four parts and I used 3 apples.
When you have peeled them, you put them in a bowl with the sugar , cinnamon and the cookie spices.
This is the stage that the kids might just eat it like this. The fact that cinnamon , sugar and apple is a treat aswell, might shorten the process of baking hahah.
Sugar in the netherlands is also available with cinnamon in it that way its not that dominant. I always use extra cinnamon.
The pink spray is oil for the baking plate for the oven, a must have when using the oven.

The dough, i rolled it fresh from the freezer, after letting it defrost for a few minutes. I made six squares. Don’t press the knife to hard because the baking paper is needed.
Its pastry dough and really thin, but you can also make dough yourself.
I put the apples in the middle of the dough, cinnamoned and sugared.
In the middle because you need to close them after.
Here you see that step 1 and step 2.
I close them with a mixer pin just because the boys like the nice squares, for whatever the end result became, they loved it.
With the egg you make them shine, and I put some sugar on top and this was the whole proces. We did all this in 30 minutes and had lots of tasting - making fun.
This is the end product and SOOOOO GOOOODDDD!!!!
