I am saddened by the canceling of the Los Angeles County fair this year. I love the fair, so this is heartbreaking. The fair is held over the month of September, so I thought canceling it was a bit premature, but the decision has been made.
The other night, I made my own fair-inspired dessert - Frozen Nutella Bacon!
Odd right! Well, the fair was the first place I tried frozen bacon covered in chocolate and it was delicious - sweet and salty - a savory treat! So that was my inspiration. Here is my son Jacob’s take on it:
Odd, but a hit! I guess everything tastes good with bacon!
