In truth, it's early Monday morning, but who's arguing this point? Sunday night has its routine. My kids and I do the Sunday running, culminating with some grocery shopping at Wal-Mart, and then dropping

I don't drink coffee. After five years of university, and nearly 25 years of full-time employment, if I haven't developed the taste for java juju juice yet, it ain't happening. Ergo, I need another method

Sitting the break room at work. I'm starving after a very early dinner. And my dinner is getting ruined by Clown News Network's coverage of the yawn Royal Wedding. I mean, it's not as barfworthy as what's

Although it's not my favorite sandwich shop, I must proclaim, thank God for Jimmy John's! Always fast and fresh, in and out in five minutes or less! Excellent when I'm running into work. Wish I could say

Sometimes, you just need to walk down the stairs. My shift is finally over, and I pack up to head down to the gym. I get in the elevator, and instead of going down one floor, the elevator shoots up to

A few weeks ago, I had the privilege to chat with the cast of Upper Pylon 2: A Star Trek: Deep Space Nine review podcast. The discussion centered on the episode "Valiant," which aired almost

Early Saturday morning, I was getting ready to leave work. It had been an evening worthy of occurring on Friday the 13th, to be sure. In addition to the massive workload, I was covering an unfamiliar account,

Last night worked wasn't that bad. Sure, we had mandatory overtime at first, but it was cancelled, and yet, I still had to put in about 90 minutes of OT. That's not bad, really. All the OT I've had to

Sitting in the break room, and I've punched out for the night. Here's hoping I can get some actual writing done this weekend. I'm hoping later today I can take the kids to the Oldham County Comic Con.
