It is going to be a little bit of a different post today. Since it is Good Friday, I did not have to work today. That means I wasn't sitting at my desk this Friday morning which is where most of the magic happens when I write my posts.
Unlike many people who decided to do some travelling for the Spring Break, we were home this year and I was actually in working every day.
Since I was off today, I decided to take my wife for a surprise ride across the state.
We live just a couple miles from Lake Huron, but we decided to head to the other side of "the mitten" and take a look at some spots on Lake Michigan that we haven't been to together.
We also wanted to take a look at some of the state park campgrounds on the west coast to see if they would be worth booking a stay at some summer.
It was about a 2.5 hour drive across the state and a large portion of it was two lane highway capped at 55 mph. That is part of the reason it took so long.
Thank goodness for satellite radio, we were able to listen to some great stations all the way across the state. 
Between Y2K Country (music from the 2000's) and Prime Country (music from the 80's and 90's), we were all set.
Due to waning daylight, I only have one song for you today.
At one point this song came on and I was telling my wife that it is really too bad that Billy Ray Cyrus's career is mostly defined by the song Achy Breaky Heart. This song is far superior and I honestly think it would have gotten more traction if it had been tied to a different artist.
It is just the kind of stuff that a country song is made of. Heartbreak, loss, missed opportunities, you know the playbook if you are a fan of country music.
