I wasn't sure if I heard right but there she was requesting I bring the Wire Basket that she threw in a feat of anger.
Angela was this soft, sweet, caring girl when we first met but since her last trip to Kenya, she's not been the Angela I know.
I know she's already explored a part of herself that she knew existed but had not faced it squarely.
I know because I felt the same way when I returned from my trip to Kenya for the first time. It's an experience worth that keeps one rejuvenating.
I got to the airport and found Angela seated on her baggage at the entrance of the terminal with her dark shades on.
Let's go home baby, welcome back.
She did get up immediately but left all her bags and drove away as the keys were in the ignition.
I had to take bolt to get home and she remained silent in our bedroom shutting the door.
What I didn't know was, Angela witnessed the death of a child right in front of her eyes while shopping the previous day. There was a heist.
She called my that she had booked her flight for the night.
Eventually, the flight was cancelled.
Now she's here being an Angel in tears.
I was wrong she didn't have the same experience as mine.
