This is the European green lizard (Lacerta viridis). The biggest lizard in this area.
After some more walking and sniffing around the trees ...
... I reached the open terrain covered with shrubs and meadows ...
... passed by a group of Anemone hortensis flowers ...
... and then sat down ...
... to photograph the minuscule flowers ...
... of a small, gracile Myosotis plant. I'm not sure about the exact species. It could be the Myosotis dubia. Or the Myosotis minutiflora. Or some other Myosotis. While exploring the flowerers through the macro lens ...
... I spotted a minuscule spider nearby. This is a very young Neoscona adianta orb waver.
After photographing this macro stuff ...
... and some more walking, I sat down again.
