This is the toad. It was photographed a long time ago. In October 2009. The spiral will come soon, but not immediately after this opening shot.

This is the sunset. One of the sunsets. The sun was slowly falling into the sea on the 29 of November 2013, when the photograph was taken.

When this photograph was taken, the sun was sinking into a sea of clouds above the western horizon. The year was 2015. I know the exact date, but I won't tell you that piece of information stored in the JPEG metadata.

Here you can see a sunset above my neiberhood. In the following photograph ...

... you can take a better, more up-close look at the chimney in front of the setting sun.

And now ... is the time to introduce the spiral. I mean, it's a snail. Theba pisana is the name of the species. But is also a spiral.

Here you can see the silhouettes of the grass against the blurred background made of yet another sunset.

And that's it. The post ends here. Soon it will be too dark to continue.

As promised in the title, you'll see a toad and a spiral in this post, one toad and one spiral, but when it comes to the sunset ... well, you'll see a couple of those. You'll see a bit more than the title suggests when it comes to the sunset. That's all I'll say here. You can read a little bit more in the captions under every picture.

AS ALWAYS HERE ON HIVE, THE PHOTOGRAPHS ARE MY WORK. YEP. THEY REALLY ARE.
