I'm more focused and less generic in this shot. Here you can see the soft, edible top of the shoot of the wild asparagus plant, which in scientific circles goes by the name of Asparagus acutifolius.

These shoots can grow pretty tall and have a snake-like appearance.

Today's photographs were taken near the harbor, on the small peninsula in the bay of Medulin, my hometown. The year was 2015. The early springtime of that year.
