These days I spend most of my time outdoors, photographing with a small compact camera the explosion of colors and life in nature that surrounds me.
And yesterday I went to the coast to see what's up with one of my favorite flowers, this yellow species of poppy.
They grow on the banks of pebbles made by the big waves.
and, I don't know elsewhere but hear where I live, they are very rare. I mean the flowers, not the white pebbles.
I know only two little lagoons in my area where these plants can be found.
And I explored every single inch of that coast. :) If you don't believe me, ask anybody here in town. I don't do much traveling, globetrotting and those things ... but here near my hometown, I have visited every small universe and looked under every stone.
And so I spent all morning there, in a good company of flowers ...
... watching the little bees and big bumblebees flying around ...
... and overlooking the sea ...
And that's all for today.
Have a good day ... or night...wherever you are ...
( As always on these posts on steemit, all the photographs are my work. )
