I took a bunch of photographs on the 5th of May 2015. And that's it. That's what you'll see in today's post. Just a bunch of old photographs and a few sentences written with my left hand.

In this opening shot, in the foreground of the picture, you can see a small beetle that was posing on the top of the young shoot of the Asparagus acutifolius plant. Blurred in the background are my left-hand's fingers. The right hand was busy with the camera.

This is a leaf beetle. A species from the Chrysomelidae family. Its scientific name is Crioceris asparagi.

Both I and the beetle were voracious consumers of asparagus shoots in the spring of 2015.

Here you can see what I collected on the 5th of May in the morning.

Some minutes later I also picked a few young leaves from the fragrant Foeniculum vulgare plant.

Here you can see one of my dogs sleeping under the roses in the yard.

In this shot taken in the living room, the same dog is a great furry pillow for my mostly bald head. In the following photograph ...

... I have another lovely pillow for my feet. Pancho & Pepi, these are their names, loved these types of situations. I'm not the only one enjoying the moment shown in these photographs.

Here the small dog called Bepina joined the siesta on the living room floor.

I collected more asparagus in the afternoon ...

... and I photographed this beautiful Papilio machaon butterfly.

AS ALWAYS HERE ON HIVE, THE PHOTOGRAPHS ARE MY WORK.
