During these short winter days, the sunlight in the afternoon travels relatively fast through my hometown ...
... through the narrow streets ...
... that look a bit like canyons.
I just returned home ...
... after a few hours of intensive light chasing ...
... first around the old town ...
... across the facades of small churches ...
... and old houses merged together ...
... in compact blocks ...
... on a small hill.
While chasing the sun ... I caught the moon too ...
... and two magpies for a supper :D ...
... but the best trophies, were small, fast glimpses of golden light, like this one ... I mean, the one on the picture above ... what a treasure :D ... I feel like a millionaire right now.
On the main square ... I found these lovely fruits, big red and shiny ... they appeared here a few weeks before Christmas ... and I'm glad that this seasonal thing is still on the tree.
I mean, almost all are still up, hanging from the branches ... one fell down ... and was lying on the cold asphalt like a surreal oversized cherry ... slightly smashed, of course ...
... and there, reflected in one of those pieces ... I saw the entire big tree ... and me ... and I took this shot ... I love to watch and photograph reflections ... that gives me a wonderful trippy felling of traveling somewhere behind the curtains of reality ...
... then ... as the sun was inexorably sliding downhill ...
... I followed the light ...
... on her way to the sea ... for the final chapter of the journey...
... here in the bay ...
... in the shallow water ...
... among docks and similar stuff ...
.... where the sun will finally disappear ... taking with him all the lovely yellow light ...
... THE END (As always in these posts on Steemit, the photographs are my work)
