A PARTIALLY MONOCHROME, PARTIALLY RAINY & QUITE ORDINARY DAY AT THE END OF WINTER
The end of winter was near, some wasp - mimicking fly was resting on the glass of my kitchen window ...
... and I was probably thinking of taking a walk, through the groves and meadows at the outskirts of town.
This is just a deduction, though ... I don't write from memory here. Not only is hard to say what I was thinking back then in 2015, but without these shots even what I saw, and what I did would be a mystery.
According to the photographs found in the little yellow folder forgotten at the figurative bottom of an external drive ...
At one point on 10. March 2015 I went out of the house ...
... I took some shots ...
... picked plenty of wild asparagus ...
... and it looks that I was barefoot ... but I'm pretty sure that this was arranged only for this finger - selfie.
The day was partially rainy ...
... with at least one outburst of sun ...
... snails were active & happy ...
... I encountered some friendly flowers ...
... some ordinary spiders ...
... and this extravagant mantis.
This post is partially monochrome, not because of the memory being slightly washed out ...
... nope ...
... it's like that only because ...
... some things ...
... like the trees on a cloudy day ...
... especially the trees on a cloudy day ... look much better in black & white.
And so, I was rambling under the pines on that partially rainy, partially monochrome, and quite ordinary day in 2015 ...
... just like I'm rambling in front of my PC, on this sunny morning in 2021 ...
... pretty aimlessly ...
... from picture to picture ...
... without a clear idea of how this thing should end ...
... so it's not a surprise that at the end, the end came abruptly - THE END.
