I would like to start off this post by saying that I am incredibly blessed to be born and raised in a country with such beautiful scenery. My hometown is often praised for being the City Of Waterfalls, and with over 156 of them, it isn't hard to see why! 馃槺馃槏 Smokey Hollow is just one of those many waterfall destinations that you must see...

No, it is not the tallest or most extravagant waterfall my city has to offer, but Smokey Hollow is one of those rare places where, for once, the journey is better than the destination! The scenery along the way definitely made me stop and stare more than a few times.. Everywhere we looked, we encountered flashes of yellows, oranges, and reds. A sea of orange surrounded our feet wherever we went! It felt so good to be able to listen to the stream bubble along, and connect with nature.

I suffer from daily, constant anxiety, and I unfortunately have for years... But I did not feel fearful in this setting. Surely it would be impossible to feel that way here! This truly was yet another wake up call for me, to take a step back from the material world and instead focus on why it is we are here. There is so much that nature is willing to tell us, if we would only listen..

After taking this photo, we then had to confront the most tiring part of our journey: walking all the way back 馃槱馃槃
