I went to the thirteenth floor to check on a survivor. After taking down an infected, I met Mark, who was badly injured by his turned brother. I scavenged alcohol and gauze from the floor, crafted a medkit, patched him up, and handed him over to Lena.
I needed to check for the last survivor on the thirteenth floor. A guard was standing right outside the elevator when I walked up. The guard mentioned going to 13th floor means dirty work, but I still entered the elevator since that was where I needed to go.
Right after stepping out of the elevator, I saw bloodstains scattered all over the area. It looked like a lot of people had met their end there, which made me completely understand why the guard called it dirty work.
A man called Crane on the radio and asked where he was. Crane mentioned that his cover was still intact, showing that he remembered everything and simply had not revealed his full situation to them yet.
While he was still on the call, someone screamed frantically for help, so I moved quickly to search for the survivor.
I heard strange noises echoing around the quiet hallway as I moved forward. Suddenly, an infected appeared in front of me. I managed to knock it down with a simple kick, which felt almost unreal. I knew I had to smash its head to make sure it was completely gone.
After dealing with the threat, I found the injured survivor named Mark. He had cut his own arm while escaping from the infected, which turned out to be his own brother who had already turned into a zombie.
Crane contacted Rahim on the radio to report Mark's condition, and Rahim promised to send someone down to assist. Mark needed gauze and alcohol to stop the bleeding, so I started searching through the nearby rooms.
I explored the area, keeping an eye out for any extra supplies while making sure no other infected were lurking around. I eventually found a bottle of alcohol inside a fridge and some gauze inside a bathroom med kit box.
Once I had both items, I crafted a medkit and returned to Mark. I used the freshly made kit to patch up his bleeding arm just in time. Shortly after, a doctor named Lena arrived on the floor to take care of him, thanking Crane for saving his life before taking over.
