Keen to eliminate the sniper, I rushed ahead with Manny covering Abby. After a tense game of cat-and-mouse across the marina, we pushed the sniper behind a shutter. While trying to flank him on Manny's advice, the sniper ambushed them, killing Manny instantly and leaving Abby terrified, covered in blood.
I don't know about Abby, but I was so keen to blow the head of the sniper with a shotgun shell. So I started rushing real fast, sprinting through the abandoned corridors.
But we were stopped at the gate where we had to be careful as the sniper could be waiting on the other side with his sniper ready. So while I opened the door, Manny was ready to cover fire, raising his rifle as the metal door creaked open.
We didn't see the sniper when we went to the other side of the door, but he suddenly started shooting as we were getting ahead and caught us off guard. So we had to hide, diving behind some covers to avoid the high-caliber rounds flying around us.
As I was trying to close the gap while Manny was covering fire, I got a shot which let the sniper run away, but I started chasing right away, pushing forward despite the sting of the bullet graze.
As I was being too fast to blow that sniper's head off, he found me off guard again and took a lethal shot on me. So I had to take cover to heal up, wrapping a bandage tightly around my arm behind a concrete pillar.
I rushed ahead and found Manny kept shooting the sniper from afar. So I joined Manny and the sniper moved to another spot, falling back deeper into the complex.
I got another shot, but then we pushed the sniper to his limit. So he escaped behind a shutter and I went ahead to meet him face to face, marching right up to the locked metal gate.
But Manny stopped me saying this could be dangerous opening that shutter. So he suggested me to get to another door to the same room, pointing toward a side service hallway.
When we were about to open that door, suddenly the sniper came out through that same path he went inside and he put a bullet through Manny's skull, and Manny fell and died right away, dropping instantly to the floor in a horrific way.
Abby somehow escaped the bullets of the sniper next and hid inside the room opening the door, and she was really terrified with blood of Manny on her face. She was in absolute shock as her breathing turned heavy and frantic.
