Knowing the enemy was alerted, I used a sniper rifle, bow, and stealth knife to eliminate several Rattlers. After clearing infected Clickers with a shotgun, I moved toward the round building. A fresh wave of Rattlers attacked, but I wiped out the entire squad, made it a bloody infiltration.
Knowing that the enemies were already aware of my presence, I decided to deal with one of the guards positioned far off in the distance using my sniper rifle. At that point, noise was no longer a major concern.
I began picking off targets one by one, landing clean headshots with my bow. I noticed that even the heavily armored soldiers wearing helmets stood no chance against the arrows, usually dropping after a single shot.
However, I almost made a costly mistake while attempting to take down one of the final guards in the courtyard. My first arrow missed completely, and the second failed to kill him, forcing me to use my last remaining arrow to finally put him down.
Looking through my inventory, I saw that I still had a few burst arrows available. I fired one into a pair of Rattlers standing close together, and the explosive impact instantly took them both out. It proved to be an extremely effective weapon for packed groups.
From there, I moved inside a nearby building to handle another Rattler. Instead of wasting valuable ammunition, I snuck up behind him and eliminated him quietly with my knife.
Upon closer inspection, it appeared these Rattlers were equipped with police tactical vests alongside their helmets.
I assumed there was only one remaining Rattler patrolling the upper level of the perimeter. While I could have easily shot him from a distance, I decided to climb up and eliminate him in person.
I located a set of stairs and headed up, only to realize my initial count was completely wrong. The upper floor was not occupied by a single guard, but rather a large group of them. As I attacked the first man, the rest of the group spotted me immediately.
A chaos broke out as I fought off the wave. After shooting all of them down, I was hoping I finally cleared out the last of the human threats in the area.
With so many shotgun ammunition scattered around the room, I decided to use those shells to finish off the local Clickers so they would not come back to hunt me later on. It only took two solid shotgun shots to eliminate them completely.
With the path clear, I made my way toward the large round building nearby. A few more Rattlers suddenly ran out of the structure, shouting to one another that they were under attack. I stayed low and picked off the first guard with a single arrow.
Another enemy walked over to inspect the area, completely unaware of what had just happened to his teammate. A female guard nearly spotted my position, but I quickly lined up a clean headshot and dropped her before she could raise the alarm.
Another Rattler arrived after spotting her body, and I eliminated him just as quickly. One more guard almost caught sight of me, but I managed to react first and take him out before he could shoot me.
Suddenly, several more Rattlers swarmed the area all at once. With the enemies closing in rapidly, I was forced to open fire with everything I had.
Thanks to solid positioning and quick reactions, I wiped out the entire squad without taking a single hit, and it left me covered in bloodstains by the time the dust settled.
