Welcome to my 2019 Herb Garden

Since I've already started my Peppers I felt it was a good time to start the herbs for the season too. I'll be starting them all in the SunBlaster Growlight Garden that I got for X-Mas a little over a year ago. So to begin with since I only have 4 spots available in my herb grower I chose these 4 species to start with: Basil, Dill, Mint and Green Ice Lettuce. Once they've gotten big enough I'll transplant them and start some more in their places.

Here they are all planted with a bit of plastic wrap to seal them in like a greenhouse it will trap the humidity from escaping. This will cut down the watering required and ensure my dirt does not dry up while I'm trying to germinate my seeds.

Two Weeks Later

Basil

Dill

Mint

Lettuce

We have had success with pretty well all the seeds although the Green ice Lettuce is starting off a little slower than the rest and so far we only have 2 of those plants going.
