Hello, all of my friends of the Hive Universe. How are you all? I hope you are all well by the grace of the Almighty. I am also fine. Today, I want to share with you about my garden's vegetable which is Indian Spinach. It is also called Malabar Spinach. Now I start to write about it. 馃槉
As you already know, there's a space on the left side of our house, and I decided to use it to make my vegetable garden. It was a day when our neighbour's aunt gave us indian spinach to cook. She had a garden. In his garden, there had indian spinach vegetables. I took it and cut it. When I was cutting, I noticed some ripen indian spinach fruit. I separated those ripen fruit. Then washed the vegetables, and my mother-in-law cooked a curry with black lentils. It was delicious food for me. My husband also likes this dish.
That day, I took a small pot and put those Indian spinach fruits in it. Then, with the pressure of my finger, I mashed those fruits and got the seeds. There were almost 25-28 seeds that were getting. After that, I put them in the sun to dry. After drying, I stored them. Because I was going the next day to my hometown. So, I was not able to sow those seeds. I was planning that when I came back, I would sow them.
From my parents' house, I came back after one week. It was on my mind to sow those spinach seeds. So, at first, I cleaned the place. There were some weeds. I used some desi tools. After removing weeds, I was tilling the small place and breaking down those big aggregates. Then I made some holes in a row. After that, I put down those seeds in the hole and cover it with soil. I was putting 2 seeds in a hole.
After sowing, I watered the small field. After 1 week, I saw the germinated seeds were coming out upper the soil. Moreover, they started growing. Every week, I removed weeds from the field.
As you can see, only 6 germinated from 28 seeds. The gemination rate was 21.43%. I also worried about how many would germinate. So, finally, it was six seedlings. I wanted more, so I decided to buy seeds from the market and buy it. I will share with you what happened next. Was I sowing those seeds or not?
I didn鈥檛 give any synthetic fertilizer. Because I want to grow organic vegetables for my family. I wanted to give organic fertilizer. But at that time, it was not available. Every day, I gave rice water, which I got from our chicken. I store every day rice washed water and gave in the field.
