In these early winter days I realize that I missed the fall. This year has been a strange year. Autumn was actually a late summer ... maybe an Indian summer?
The colors around me started to fade. They lost their luster, most of the vegetation began to die and death cannot have vivid colors, does it?
Then I realized that I lack the bright and vibrant colors, the true colors of autumn. They were but I didn't look at them enough. Now I try to correct this mistake ...
I planted a Japanese maple in my small yard and some birch trees. Then I didn't know what surprise these trees would do to me. I found out as soon as autumn began and the leaves of the trees began to color.
The Japanese maple has gone from green to red...
... and the leaves of the birch trees were colored yellow.
Together, these trees color and even light my yard every fall.
Not only the leaves but also the fruits bring color.
I return to the question above. Hasn't it been an Indian summer this fall?
Maybe Joe Dassin can help us with that, although he went in the winter (winter life)
