Above: About a week ago, I sowed seeds for my Indoor Winter Salad Greens. Little Gem Butter Head Lettuce, Red Romaine, Spinach, and Arugula.

Indoor Winter Salad Greens

Last two winters, I have planted Salad greens, indoors, under my grow lights. I enjoy being able to head to my basement and pick fresh Salad Greens for our nightly family meals.

This is a quick update to my recent post:Blue's 2 Minute Garden Tips: Sowing Salad Greens. It feels good to show progress, in only a week, on my indoor winter garden. And it feels good, too, to provide Fresh Food for my family, even in the cold of winter, by planting and growing indoors.
