Elbert Hubbard once said "life is a paradox", this statement is true because at a point in your life everything makes perfect sense to you and in an instance the situation could shift to a completely meaningless state. I hope you are catching the drift, may be we shed more light on this by defining what a paradox is.
a seemingly absurd or contradictory statement or proposition which when investigated may prove to be well founded
or a statement or proposition which, despite sound (or apparently sound) reasoning from acceptable premises, leads to a conclusion that seems logically unacceptable or self-contradictory- Google.
In life good things happen, bad things occur, great personalities come our way, other times douchebags seems to be in abundant supply all around us. We are happy when everything seems to be going according to plan and desolate when things go 180 degrees in the opposite direction.
Some of us believe in a Creator while others do not, some believe the Creator maintains order or sequence of events in reality while others think if there is indeed a Creator only good things should happen and as a matter of fact there should be no sorrow in the world. The zillion dollar question is does evil, sadness, pain serve a purpose?
Lets say you are dependent on a friend or a relative for a particular need and if this individual decides to withdraw this benefit, this will definitely spur you on to be independent and begin to rely more on yourself except you are a loser.
Probably you have been nursing the idea of running your own company but you've been reluctant to let go of your present 9-5 job. Boom!!! A downsize at your workplace and you need to get by, you don't have any other option but to act on that idea you've been pushing under the carpet.
Come to think of it if you did not suffer the heartbreak how will you become stronger, how will you work towards avoiding same pitfalls in your previous relationship, how will you identify potential red flags before starting a new one? If you did not fail in that business venture and go bankcrupt how will you become a successful business mogul, how will you put more effort in your next business venture. If the seed does not get buried and rotten how will a new plant grow from it. Its like two ends of the same sword, every failure comes with a lesson to spur you on to success,if a door is not shut completely how will you search for a new door.
You need a GOLIATH to bring the DAVID in you out of the state of dormancy, you need a PHARAOH to chase you to the RED SEA for the MOSES in you to split the sea with the rod. You need a JUDAS to betray you for the CHRIST in you to resurrect. These are biblical examples and I know for fact some readers might not be down with it, probably you will be a able to relate with this, you need a JOE FRAZIER for your MUHAMMAD ALI to experience "the thriller in Manila" yes the MANDELA in you needs INCARCERATION for it to appreciate FREEDOM.
To your success.
