You've probably heard the expression many times before: he, she is like a child! It does not mean childish stubbornness or immaturity, but purity of heart and curiosity from which flows a river of endless joy and true pleasure that children find in almost everything.
I really like that characteristic and the kind of approach and application to things we come across in life. I try to apply it in my everyday photo adventures. Usually the main subjects of my photography are butterflies, this is very well known to all sparrows on branches!
There are a number of things I really enjoy, among them are photography and butterflies. Things that we do routinely, almost mechanically, we don't find pleasure in, even more over time those same things become repulsive to us.
I have long since realized that the amount of happiness I will find in something I do depends solely on myself. To what extent will I do my best to do what I do to the best of my ability. There is no instant success and the results will not come overnight, but at least in my case, I have a bunch of photos and memories at the end of each day. Yes, those little things make me happy, I've seen a new butterfly and just like a kid I don't need anything more than that!
