Meow, meow! Just look how cute they are. The moment you step out through the side door, they swarm you from every possible direction. And as you can see, at that other exit, the one through the boiler room, we've got this improvised plastic shelter that's supposed to protect the firewood. Well, we thought that was its one and only purpose until we realized the cats had basically taken over and moved in. 😸 Now you simply have to cooperate with them, whether you like it or not. Otherwise, no firewood for you, freeze, they don't care, hihih. :D
You go out to grab one or two logs and you must bring them something to snack on, something sweet for their royal taste, or they’ll stare at you just like this little mustached Hitler-cat hiding behind that communist-red sack. xD
And just when you think he's looked somewhere else and it's safe to peek out and "steal" a log or two, another judging stare pops up right above him. Less dangerous, but still nicely disapproving. Cats everywhere, e-v-e-r-y-w-h-e-r-e!
Only when the other grey one shows up, that cute little one on the top, jumps into the gang and goes like "Heeey folks, calm down a bit, this won't get us anything, just be sweet, blink a couple of times and wait patiently", only then you can actually negotiate with them.
Of course they got they are getting all sorts of food. They eat better than we people do in our own house, haha. xD And there are more of them: one completely black, one chubby all-grey and I think a few more females, but we cannot catch or count them all. They're true village cats, smart about their business. If they don't like the lunch here, they just go to the neighbor. Next day to the other one, the day after to the third and a few days later they're back herw again. Typical cat logic, cats business. :)
