A few months back I had gone to a very beautiful place with some of my friends. I was there before in the year 2012 I was in my last year of schooling. At that time we dont even have phones (some of my friends did have though ). I do have one at my home and that was for all the members now Everyone has a phone of his own. The phone is life is like a part of the body for many of us. 😇 This time I visited the place with my friend a few months back.
So, moving back to the topic...
This place is very beautiful, but maybe I am unable to show you that. The reason is simple my old smartphone. I will buy a DSLR soon (any suggestions not ASAP but I will sure buy one). I live in the state of temples you can say that there are many religious places people from all over the world (mostly Hindu) do visit these holy and religious places.

Temple I did visit is Katarmal, This place is also known as Sun Temple. you can look over the internet for the images you will see how beautiful the place looks. I wouldn't say I like filters and editing my photos. I have only up them in the frame to look a little bit good.
I am pretty amazed to see the architecture and robust structures that are standing there for years. The temple was not completed, but that doesn't affect its beauty of the temple at all. our ancestors were very advanced in technology or they are huge gains I do think about that every time I visit any temples around my area. All are pretty amazing some do give me goosebumps. I do love to watch travel YouTubers who visit temples all over India and some travel worldwide for that. The temple is broken in many places, but still, it is in excellent condition. We see how new buildings and bridges broke so early. The ancient builders are great at their work we can still see the strength of the structures.
There is a local story about this temple. The temple is dedicated to the god of the sun "Surya dev". The temple is built by the Katyuri Kings. The builders used to build temples in one night, they stopped working with the first ray of the sun. That is the reason part (the top ) of this temple is still incomplete.

How to visit(travel to ) this temple:
This is the google link of the katartmal temple direction, in google maps. It is now really very easy to travel thanks to technology. There are three ways to reach this temple
By air: The nearest airport to visit the temple is pantnagar Airport. after that you have to travel via government bus or taxi. That is around a 132 Km ride.
By train: The nearest railway station is kathgodam, after that, you have to travel via government bus or taxi. That is around 115 Km drive.
By road: the nearest bus station is Almora, after that you only have to travel 20 km. you can book a local taxi or you can travel via government bus.
If you do have to walk then you should book a taxi else you have to go walking around 4 km to reach the temple.
इस मंदिर की यात्रा (यात्रा) कैसे करें:
यह गूगल मैप्स में कटारमल मंदिर दिशा का गूगल लिंक है। तकनीक की बदौलत अब यात्रा करना वाकई बहुत आसान हो गया है। इस मंदिर तक पहुंचने के तीन रास्ते हैं
हवाई मार्ग से: मंदिर जाने के लिए निकटतम हवाई अड्डा पंतनगर हवाई अड्डा है। उसके बाद आपको सरकारी बस या टैक्सी से सफर करना होगा। यानी लगभग 132 किलोमीटर की सवारी।
ट्रेन से: निकटतम रेलवे स्टेशन काठगोदाम है, उसके बाद आपको सरकारी बस या टैक्सी से यात्रा करनी होगी। यानी लगभग 115 किमी ड्राइव।
सड़क मार्ग से: निकटतम बस स्टेशन अल्मोड़ा है, उसके बाद आपको केवल 20 किमी की यात्रा करनी होगी। आप स्थानीय टैक्सी बुक कर सकते हैं या आप सरकारी बस से यात्रा कर सकते हैं।
यदि आपको पैदल ही जाना है तो आपको टैक्सी बुक करनी चाहिए अन्यथा आपको मंदिर तक पहुँचने के लिए लगभग 4 किमी पैदल चलना होगा।

While coming back I saw a lovely house, I hope you will like it too. The video is 6 months old I guess the construction should be complete by now I will share the updated photographs if I get a chance to visit the temple again.
