También denominadas «parafonías» «EVP» (fenómenos de voz electrónica) por sus siglas en inglés. El fenómeno paranormal se trata de sonidos o voces de origen desconocido que se oyen en grabaciones o videos, y se popularizó en el verano de 1959 cuando el ornitólogo Friedrich Jürgenson grababa el canto de los Pizones en los bosques de Suecia, aledaños a su casa. Cuando llevó la grabadora a su residencia para revisarla y comprobar si tenía algún error, notó, anonadado, que de fondo en la grabación, se oía una una voz que imitaba el sonido de los pájaros y comentaba sobre ellos en noruego.
Also called "paraphonies" or "EVP" (electronic voice phenomena). - Voces de muertos/ Voices of the dead.
Voces que se oyen en las grabaciones o documentos audiovisuales y que pertenecen a personas ya fallecidas que están arraigadas al lugar donde se graba o a la persona que está haciendo la grabación, o que pertenece al grupo presente.
Voices that are heard in the recordings or audiovisual documents and that belong to deceased persons who are rooted in the place where it's recorded or to the person who is making the recording, or who belongs to the group present there.
- Interferencias radio eléctricas/ Radio electrical interference.
Se cree que las voces o sonidos oídos en estos documentos, son interferencias de otras señales de radio que se cruzan con el aparato electrónico con el que se graba.
It's believed that the voices or sounds heard in these documents are interference from other radio signals that are crossed with the electronic device with which it is recorded.
- Extraterrestres/ Aliens.
Es la misma hipótesis de los fantasmas, pero con seres extraterrestres.

- Dimensiones Paralelas/ Parallel Dimensions
Los creyentes de esta hipótesis afirman que las voces son pertenecientes a eventos y voces de seres vivos que están en otra dimensión, y que el eco se refleja en la nuestra.
Believers of this hypothesis affirm that the voices belong to events and voices of living beings that are in another dimension but the echo is reflected in ours.
- Pareidolia
Las voces son sonidos que se interpretan por el subconsiente como gritos, risas, frases etc, en un intento del cerebro por reordenar lo que lo esta desordenado.
Voices are sounds that are interpreted by the subconscious as screams, laughter, phrases, etc, in an attempt by the brain to rearrange what is messy.
- Ondas estacionarias/ Standing waves
El sonido se queda rebotando en las paredes de una estancia a baja frecuencia y se reproduce luego cuando se graba en dicho lugar.
Sound is bouncing off the walls of a room at a low frequency and is later reproduced when recorded there.
Ninguna de estas hipótesis está aprobada a falta de evidencia contundente, y por eso quedan como hipótesis y no como teorías.
