Hi there, internet friends! How are you doing? Today, I’m taking you back to my favorite store in the city—Mayor Center. I had run out of skincare and haircare products, and I also needed to buy a gift for a baby who is due soon. So, I asked my sister to come along, since that store sells a bit of everything and I knew we’d find exactly what we were looking for there.
¡Hola hola, gente de internet ¿Cómo están? Hoy los llevaré de nuevo a mi tienda favorita entre todas las que hay en mi ciudad, Mayor Center, es que últimamente me quedé sin suministros de productos de hidratación para la piel, productos para el cabello y todo eso, además yo también necesitaba comprar un regalo para un bebé que está por nacer, de modo que le pedí a mi hermana que acompañara hasta allí porque en esta tienda venden de todo y yo sabía que allí encontraríamos lo que estábamos buscando.
The store is huge and has a bit of everything; the downside is that when they restock, they often don't bring back the products you originally liked. For instance, I loved a hair dye that was quite natural—made with avocado—which I used to cover my gray hair. My sister suggested I buy a men's version they carried there; at first, I was hesitant because I know men's products often have a different, stronger scent. However, my sister suggested I buy a vanilla-scented hair perfume to go with it, so that’s what I did. Yet, when I started using the shampoo, I discovered I loved it—it’s much better than the one I used before, offers better gray coverage, and—guess what?—it doesn't have a strong smell.
La tienda es super grande, tiene de todo un poco, lo malo es que a veces, cuando surten, a menudo no vuelven a traer los productos que te gustaron en un principio, por ejemplo, a mi me encantó un tinte para el cabello que era bastante natural, pues estaba hecho de aguacate, es un tinte negro y yo lo necesitaba para cubrir mis canas, sin embargo, mi hermana me sugirió que comprara uno de hombre que tenían allí, al inicio tuve mis reservas porque sé que los productos para hombres a menudo manejan un olor diferente, más fuerte, sin embargo mi hermana me sugirió comprar un perfume para el cabello con olor a vainilla, y fue lo que hice, sin embargo cuando empecé a usar el shampoo descubrí que lo amé, es mucho mejor que el que yo usaba, tiene una mayor cobertura de canas y además… ¿adivinen qué?... no tiene olor fuerte.
For skincare, I picked out a few masks—one containing hyaluronic acid and another with exfoliating properties. As you can see, I had a list in hand of the products I already had in mind and needed to buy, but along the way, I came across some new ones that I absolutely loved.
En productos de skincare elegí algunas mascarillas como una que tiene acido hialurónico y otra que además tiene propiedades exfoliantes, como se pueden dar cuenta yo tenía una lista en mi mano con los productos que ya llevaba en mente y que necesitaba adquirir, pero en el camino me encontré con otros nuevos que me encantaron.
Regarding the baby gifts my sister and I wanted to buy, we found many options at this store; I chose a bottle cleaner, and my sister picked out a grooming kit—something extremely useful for the baby's safety—and we were both certain the baby's mom would love those gifts.
En cuanto a los regalos del bebé que mi hermana y yo queríamos comprar en esta tienda encontramos muchas opciones, yo elegí un limpiador de biberones y mamilas y mi hermana eligió un kit de aseo, algo sumamente útil para la seguridad del bebé, ambas estábamos seguras de que la mamá del bebé amaría esos regalos.
I also chose a good heat protectant for my hair because, even though I haven't been flat-ironing it much lately, this will keep it protected and hydrated whenever I do decide to do so.
También elegí un buen protector de calor para mi cabello porque aunque últimamente no lo plancho mucho, las veces que piense hacerlo esto lo mantendrá protegido e hidratado.
So, I bought this whole bagful of items—well, these are just some of them; I don't have them all because I gave a few away as gifts. Honestly, though, it was a really productive day for both me and the shop, haha. It’s always nice to stock up on products like these that make us girls feel good.
En conclusión compre toda esta bolsa, y estos son algunos de los productos que compré, no están todos porque algunos fueron regalos y ya no los tengo conmigo, pero la verdad es que fue un día muy productivo para mi y para la tienda, jeje, siempre viene bien abastecerse con estos productos que a las chicas nos hace sentir bien.
