Hello everyone! How are you? Today I want you to join me at this place I found in northern Valencia, Venezuela, in the La Viña area, specifically in the Concepto La Viña shopping center. That day, my sister and I planned a trip to take our cousins there, and guess what? They found it original and interesting. It's inspired by the magical world of Harry Potter; the menu features dishes and drinks mentioned in the books, the decor is stunning, and they have very original spaces, like the Gryffindor common room, the Great Hall, and more. They even have a collection of wands belonging to several of the most important characters in the saga, flying broomsticks, and screaming mandrakes by the entrance.
¡Hola Hola, gente de internet ¿Cómo están? Hoy quiero que me acompañen a este lugar que encontré en el norte de Valencia, Venezuela en la zona de La Viña, específicamente en el centro comercial Concepto La Viña. Ese día mi hermana y yo planeamos una salida para llevar a nuestros primos a conocer el lugar, y ¿cómo no? Les pareció original e interesante. Está inspirado en el mundo mágico de Harry Potter, el menú contiene platillos y bebidas que se mencionan en los libros, la decoración de todo el lugar es impresionante, tienen spot muy originales, como la sala común de Gryffindor, el gran comedor, etc… incluso en la puerta tienen una colección de varitas de varios de los personajes más importantes de la saga, escobas voladoras y mandrágotas gritonas.
That time we weren't in the mood for anything savory, but rather dessert, so when I saw the menu I immediately wanted a cinnamon roll and a delicious cappuccino with a hint of vanilla. Honestly, I was impressed by the size of the cinnamon roll; it was enormous and delicious, topped with a delightful layer of cream cheese frosting that complemented the cinnamon perfectly. The pastry was incredibly soft and practically melted in my mouth, and the coffee was also a delight.
En esa ocasión no teníamos ganas de comer algo salado sino más bien de postres, así que cuando vi el menú se me antojó un Cinamon Roll y un deliciosísimo cappuccino pero con un toque de vainilla. Honestamente a mi me impresionó el tamaño del rol de canela, era enorme y delicioso, estaba napado con una deliciosa capa de crema de queso que hacía una buena combinación con la canela. Por otra parte la masa estaba muy suave y casi se deshacía en mi boca, y el café también fue una delicia.
My cousins, my sister, and I had an amazing time talking and admiring every corner of that magical place. My cousin, who actually lives in Chile and was visiting his country, also showed us (through photos) some themed restaurants he's been to, and one of the ones that impressed us the most was the Star Wars restaurant.
Mis primos, mi hermana y yo pasamos un rato increíble hablando y admirando cada rincón de ese mágico lugar. Mi primo, quién realmente vive en Chile y vino de visita a su país, también nos mostró (a través de fotos) algunos restaurantes temáticos que ha visitado, y uno de los que más nos impresionó fue el de Star Wars.
After eating dessert and drinking coffee, we went straight to one of our favorite photo spots. The background looks like Diagon Alley, but the best part is that they have props on a coat rack to make your photos even more original and dynamic, like the Hogwarts Sorting Hat, frames with captions like "Have you seen this wizard?", and best of all, the robes of the four Hogwarts houses. And since there were four of us, the photos turned out perfect.
Después de comer los postres y beber los cafés nos fuimos directamente a uno de los spots de fotografía que más nos gusta, de fondo tiene lo que parece ser El Callejón Diagon, pero lo mejor de todo es que en un perchero tienen algunos elementos para hacer que tus fotografías sean aún más originales y dinámicas, como el sombrero seleccionador de Hogwarts, marcos con leyendas como “¿Has visto a este mago?” y los mejor de todo, las túnicas de las cuatro casas de la escuela de magia, y como nosotros casualmente éramos cuatro, la fotos quedaron perfectas.
I've been there before with my sister, and one of the things I like most about that place is that next to the Gryffindor common room there's an open-concept library where you can take any book you want and read it while you have your food or drink (I'll leave some photos here from another time I went).
Yo he ido en ocasiones anteriores con mi hermana, y una de las cosas que más me gusta de ese lugar es que junto a la sala común de Gryffindor hay una biblioteca de concepto abierto de la puedes tomar el libro que quieras y leerlo mientras tomas tu comida o bebida (por aquí les dejaré fotos de otra ocasión en la que fui).
