Hello, hello, internet people! How are you? Today I'm here to show you a really great place I found while I was out babysitting, hehe. I was at the S谩mbil Shopping Center in Valencia (in Venezuela). I was hungry and looking for a place that inspired confidence, you know, not just a place with good food, but with good service and a cozy atmosphere, since I was with the baby I usually babysit. That's when I found this restaurant called Vesuvio. From the name, I guessed it was Italian, and although the visual concept isn't clearly defined, I can assure you it looks very inviting. The lighting is dim, the atmosphere is calm, and the background music is in an aesthetic or cottage style.
隆Hola, Hola, gente de internet! 驴C贸mo est谩n? Hoy vengo por estos lados para mostrarles un sitio muy bueno que encontr茅 mientras andaba en mis labores como ni帽era, jeje. Yo estaba en el Centro Comercial S谩mbil de Valencia (en Venezuela) Ten铆a hambre y estaba buscando un lugar que me inspirara confianza, ya saben, no solo un lugar con buena comida, sino con buena atenci贸n y un ambiente acogedor, ya que andaba con el beb茅 que suelo cuidar, y fue entonces cuando encontr茅 este restaurante que se llama Vesuvio. Por el nombre intu铆 que es italiano, y aunque el concepto visual no est谩 definido les puedo asegurar que luce muy acogedor, las luces son tenues y el ambiente es tranquilo, la m煤sica de fondo es de estilo aesthetic o cottage.
The service was impeccable. The waiters took my order very quickly and made sure everything was in order. They even served me with a smile, which is something I truly appreciate because I've worked in restaurants as a chef and I know how demanding a workday can be. Working with the public is definitely not easy, especially when dealing with picky customers, but fortunately, I'm not like that. Besides, as I said, there was nothing to complain about. As soon as I saw the menu, I had a craving for a Mediterranean pizza, so that's what I ordered.
La atenci贸n fue todo un lujo, los meseros atendieron mi pedido bastante r谩pido y se aseguraron de que todo estaba en orden, incluso me atendieron con una sonrisa, y eso es algo que yo s茅 apreciar porque he trabajado en restaurantes como chef y s茅 lo dura que puede llegar a ser un jornada de trabajo, trabajar con publico definitivamente no es nada sencillo, en especial si lidias con clientes quisquillosos, pero afortunadamente yo no soy as铆, adem谩s, como les dije no hab铆a nada de qu茅 quejarme. En cuanto vi la carta se me antoj贸 una pizza mediterr谩nea, as铆 que esa fue mi orden.
Okay, don't judge me for not photographing the food, it's just that I was seriously hungry and I forgot I was creating content at that moment 馃槃 I only left the crusts of the pizza because that was the only thing I didn't like; I felt they were dry and very hard, so I preferred not to eat them. I'm not asking for stuffed crusts like Pizza Hut or Domino's Pizza, but at least they shouldn't be dry. However, that was the only thing I didn't like because the pizza itself was actually delicious鈥攖he toppings, the sauce, everything.
Ok, no me juzguen por no fotografiar la comida, es solo que en serio ten铆a mucha hambre y se me olvid贸 que estaba generando contenido en ese momento 馃槃 Tan solo dej茅 los bordes de la pizza porque fue lo 煤nico que no me gust贸, sent铆 que estaban secos y muy duros, as铆 que prefer铆 no comerlos. No pido que sean bordes rellenos como los de Pizza Hot o Domino's Pizza, pero al menos que no est茅n secos. Sin embargo fue lo 煤nico que no me gust贸 porque en realidad el sabor de la pizza estaba delicioso, los ingredientes, la salsa, todo.
Well, friends, it was a wonderful experience for me to visit this restaurant, Vesuvio, in the S谩mbil Shopping Center in Valencia, and I would really like to return to try the other items on the menu. I especially loved its peaceful atmosphere, the pleasant background music, the excellent service, and the delicious food, except for the pizza crust 馃槃.
En fin, amigos, para mi fue una grat铆sima experiencia asistir a este restaurante, Vesuvio, en el Centro Comercial S谩mbil de la cuidad de Valencia, y realmente me gustar铆a regresar para probar las dem谩s propuestas que tiene el men煤. Am茅 sobre todo su ambiente apacible, la m煤sica de fondo a buen volumen, la atenci贸n de primera y la comida deliciosa, a excepci贸n de los bordes de la pizza 馃槃.
