Hello, people of the internet, everything ok? I recently went to the beach and as a photography lover I had to take some new photos, so I got down to work.
It wasn't the best weather in the world to go to the beach, I love cloudy days but not when I go to the beach or to a swimming pool, the photos tend to look with a sad atmosphere that I didn't want for this occasion, plus they tend to look dark (it's something that can be corrected in the editor, but I prefer to use natural light).
I still looked for the best possible angles and took the photos. Clearly the most work came in the editor (I use photoshop) clearly I'm far from being an expert, I'm learning but although my results are not perfect, they are quite good compared to the original photos.
I always fix simple things to my photos: lighting, shadows, colour intensity, levels, etc. As I said, there are times when the photos look dull and a bit dark, so you have to increase the exposure but then work on the curves to give them a bit of contrast, so that the photo does not look "burnt" and the elements in the photo are blurred, you also have to enhance the colours to make them look more vivid.
Basically that's what I did with these photos, the most fun is making them. As always I hope you will let me know about editing mistakes and how to fix them so I can learn :3
