How many good are there to finish a beach day?
When @octocel and I started dating, she was clear about wanting to have a date at the beach. A picnic to be more specific. So without hesitation, we started to plan the day.
It was quite a date. I mean I don't go out on Sundays. At least, not for anyone. But this whole beach picnic got me excited. We packed out things and found the way to get to the beach and back. The day was awesome. But this isn't about the beach day per se. It's about the follow up.
As we returned to the city, we were talking about how to follow up the fun we had during the time at the beach. And we settle for coffee. We were tired. The waves were strong and we walked part of our way there. So, we had a couple of cappuccinos to end an awesome day.
Before going for the coffee, we bought some chocolate cookies. That we we would have something sweet for our coffee. And we spend the rest of the afternoon talking about our favorite things about the day and how a coffee is a fine way to end a day like that. Of course, we would've loved to stay longer since the sundown is an awe-inspiring sight at that place, but we don't have our own means of transportation. However, we might find a way to get some photos of that in another trip to the beach.
We had our coffee at a place called Oliva's. It is located at the Cumaná Mall (previously known as Hiper Galerías, but everyone calls it Traki since there's a whole floor dedicated to that store). The quality of the brew is ok for the price and you have a nice attention there. Also, the clerks do not disturb you at any time since the place is located at the food court. So we had the time to enjoy private conversations while sipping our coffee.
If you notice no joy at her face in the photos where she appears, do not worry. She was tired and so was I. Ha, ha, ha, ha. Beach days are energy draining, but they give all back later. It's like you're a solar battery and go to get overcharged for some other days.
I gotta say having coffees with such good company is becoming one of my favorite activities.
