Today I come here to share with you a much-loved recipe here at my house to warm up the cold days, a delicious and easy to make bean soup.
The ingredients I used, for a portion for 2 people, were the following:
- 1 calabresa sausage
- 100 grams of bacon
- 150 grams of noodles
- 200 grams of brown beans
- 1 onion
- 3 cloves of garlic
- 3 medium-sized potatoes (I used 9 small ones)
- 1 slice of red bell bell pepper
- 1 slice of yellow bell bell pepper
- Chives
- Parsley
Step 1:
The first step is to chop all the ingredients.
The onion and garlic into small cubes.
The bell bell pepper and the bacon into slightly larger cubes.
The calabrian sausage into rounds
The parsley and chives in small pieces
And the potato in slightly larger pieces.
Let's see:
Step 2:
Cook the beans in a pot (here I used a pressure cooker for faster cooking) until they are just right. Place it in a blender and blend it with 800 milliliters of water until it becomes a pure bean broth.
Step 3:
With a tablespoon of oil or olive oil, fry the sausage and bacon in a pan:
Add the onion and garlic, you can season them with a little bit of calabrian pepper and paprika:
Let it brown a little and, if you like it, it is not necessary, add 4 tablespoons of tomato sauce:
Step 3:
After 5 minutes add the bean broth from the blender directly into the pan:
Step 4:
After 20 minutes on low heat add the pasta:
Let it cook for 5 minutes, still on low heat, add the parsley and chives and turn off the heat, stir and the soup is ready:
Then the soup is ready.
