A small impulse buy from a local distillery... they had a little email out saying that they had a limited stock of a previous batch run as they had uncovered a few more boxes of the now completed run... and I thought, well... why not, I'll order a bottle of each of the two on offer. I don't need more spirits, but I do like to have a wide variety on hand... and so, I immediately placed the order.

Given that it was a local order, they arrived pretty quickly. And these are two things that I had ordered... and I guess that you will see why I decided to order immediately, as the are interesting and unusual spirits that I really wanted to try out. A Toffee Vodka, and a Passionfruit Vodka... I'm more interested in the Passionfruit version... I think that could be quite nice. I'm not sure if the toffee vodka will measure up against my beloved Butterscotch Schnaps from Thredbo... but I'm still keen to try it out.

So, I'll have a bit of taste test in the coming months... I think I need to finish off some of the other bottles before I crack these open! But I suspect that they will be perfect nightcaps... or perhaps I should take them down to the next extended family gathering so that everyone has a chance to try it out!
