The first step in decorating the towel was to cut a rectangle measuring 50 by 30 centimeters. After cutting this rectangle, I sewed a hem of approximately one centimeter on one side and the top and bottom, using a straight stitch.

El primer paso para decorar la toalla, fue cortar un rect谩ngulo de 50 por 30 cent铆metros, luego de cortar este rect谩ngulo cos铆 un dobladillo de aproximadamente un cent铆metro por uno de los lados y la parte superior e inferior, para ello utilic茅 puntada recta.
Once the edges were sewn, I cut the pieces to decorate the towel. This is how I get the exact measurements for these pieces. I cut a rectangle measuring 12 by 35 centimeters and a square measuring 15 by 15 centimeters that will go on top.
Cosidos los bordes, cort茅 las piezas para decorar la toalla, pues as铆 obtengo las medidas exactas para estas piezas, cort茅 un rect谩ngulo de 12 por 35 cent铆metros y un cuadrado de 15 por 15 cent铆metros que ir谩 en la parte superior.
The next step was to place the decorative ribbon on the 12-centimeter-wide rectangle. Using a straight stitch, I secured the decorative ribbon to the top and bottom, sewing the edges along the top so that when turned over, they would look like blackberries and adorn the edges of the fabric.
El siguiente paso fue colocar la cinta decorativa en el rect谩ngulo de 12 cent铆metros de ancho, con puntada recta fij茅 la cinta decorativa en la parte superior e inferior, pasando la costura por los bordes de arriba para que al voltear estos queden como moritas y adornen los orillos de la tela.
Attached to the decorative ribbon, I faced the right side of the fabric with the wrong side of the towel, pinned it, and sewed along the sides. Then, I turned the fabric right side out and, using a straight stitch, sewed on the top and bottom of the decorative ribbon, thus securing it to the towel.
Pegada a la cinta decorativa, enfrent茅 el derecho de la tela con el rev茅s de la toalla, fij茅 con alfileres y cos铆 por los costados, luego volte茅 la tela por el derecho y con puntada recta cos铆 en la parte de arriba y de abajo de la cinta decorativa, as铆 queda fijada a la toalla.
The last step was to glue the square in one of the top corners, starting from the wrong side to the front, facing the right side of the square with the wrong side of the towel fabric, I sewed along the side, then folded it forward, previously making a hem of approximately one centimeter on the edges of the square, I sewed it with a straight stitch and thus a beautiful decorated towel is finished that will be useful in the kitchen.
El 煤ltimo paso fue pegar el cuadrado en una de las esquinas superiores, iniciando desde el rev茅s hacia adelante, enfrentando derecho del cuadrado con rev茅s de la tela de toalla, cos铆 por el lado, luego dobl茅 hacia adelante, previamente hice un dobladillo de un cent铆metro aproximadamente en los bordes del cuadrado, cos铆 con sigue con puntada recta y as铆 est谩 terminada una linda toalla decorada que ser谩 de utilidad en la cocina.
