Fin de semana para disfrutar del nuevo encuentro anual de crossfriteros en el Caracas Box. En esta oportunidad se reunieron atletas de alto rendimiento en las categoría novatos, avanzados, escalados y máster tanto femenino como masculino.

La actividad se llevó a cabo en el Box ubicado en la Campiña, Caracas, Venezuela. Todo salió muy bien aunque son muchos detalles los que queda por corregir, uno de ellos fue el box, zona de encuentros.

Lamentablemente quedó pequeño para los atletas y espectadores. Esto impidió la buena visión y enfoque para tomar fotografías.

Weekend to enjoy the new annual meeting of crossfriteros in the Caracas Box. On this occasion, high performance athletes in the novice, advanced, climbers and masters categories, both male and female, gathered together. The activity took place at the Box located in La Campiña, Caracas, Venezuela. Everything went very well although there are many details that remain to be corrected, one of them was the box, the meeting area. Unfortunately, it was too small for the athletes and spectators. This prevented good vision and focus for taking pictures.

Es la segunda vez que asisto a este tipo de eventos. El primero se organizó en diciembre del año pasado en el Poliedro de Caracas y actualmente, este. En el Poliedro hubo mayor organización y mejor logística, participaron más atletas.

En ambos casos, aunque uno hay sido más completo que el otro, se deben dar méritos. Realmente vale la pena ver a tantos talentos reunidos en un mismo espacio y los esfuerzos de quienes organizaron lo hicieron posible. Felicitación para todos.

This is the second time I attend this type of event. The first one was organized in December last year at the Poliedro in Caracas and now this one. In the Poliedro there was more organization and better logistics, more athletes participated. In both cases, although one was more complete than the other, there are merits to be made. It is really worthwhile to see so many talents gathered in the same space and therefore we must give credit to the effort made by those who organized and made it possible. Congratulations to all.

Orgullosamente estuve también apoyando a mi hijo. Participó en la categoría "Escalado" masculino y quedó en tercer lugar de la competencia. Sus esfuerzos, constancia y dedicación han valido la pena.

El sábado 24 de febrero fueron tres competencias fuertes. Entre ejercicios de dominadas, quema de calorías y levantamiento de pesas se asumieron los retos y se lograron los objetivos. El domingo 25 se completó el circuito y culminó con la competencia final.

I was also proud to support my son. He participated in the men's "Climbing" category and came in third place in the competition. His efforts, perseverance and dedication paid off. On Saturday, February 24, there were three strong competitions. Between pull-ups, calorie burning and weight lifting, the challenges were met and the goals were achieved. On Sunday 25, the circuit was completed and culminated with the final competition.

Fue emocionante ver en cada una de las categorías a los participantes dando lo mejor de si. El apoyo para cada uno de ellos se sintieron en las palabras de aliento y motivación, en los aplausos, los abrazos y el espíritu deportivo. En las competencias no se trata de ganar o perder sino de avanzar con las metas personales.

Los atletas culminaron las jornadas del sábado y domingo, riendo, compartiendo, evaluando y reconociendo lo bien que lo hicieron. Felicitaciones para todos los participantes, ejemplos a seguir. Dios los bendiga y les guíe en este hermoso camino de salud y bienestar.

It was exciting to see the participants giving their best in each of the categories. The support for each of them was felt in the words of encouragement and motivation, in the applause, the hugs and the sportsmanship. In competitions it is not about winning or losing but about moving forward with personal goals. The athletes culminated the days of Saturday and Sunday, laughing, sharing, evaluating and recognizing how well they did. Congratulations to all the participants, examples to follow. El crossfit y otros deportes cada vez se hace más popular entre jóvenes y adultos eso indica que vamos por muy buen camino.

Crossfit and other sports are becoming more and more popular among young people and adults that indicates that we are on the right track. My son got the third place!!!! So much excitement. 😅🤣
